UVM feminists lump abortion facts with ‘rape culture’ after Sigma Phi Epsilon scandal

A display of abortion statistics organized by youth is lumped in with the “rape culture” according to Slutwalk organizer, FED UP Vermont.

Sigma Phi Epsilon, a fraternity at the University of Vermont, is under investigation for its offensive survey that asked members: “If you could rape anyone who would it be?

Outraged, feminists at UVM responded with a petition that states: “This egregious expression of rape culture is only the most recent example of systemic sexism at UVM. The past year alone has witnessed rape, multiple sexual assaults, and anti-abortion chalking in public spaces.”
Anti-abortion chalking?  How shocking!

The “chalking” was a youth-directed display of statistics aimed at educating students about the abortion industry.  For example, blacks and Hispanics and women in their 20’s have the highest rates of abortion.  On a global scale, sex-selected abortions target females causing an imbalance of genders.

The event was pre-approved by the university, but short-lived.  By the next day, outraged vandals had erased the abortion facts.

Everyone has reason to be outraged by the frat’s offensive rape question.  But the feminist organization Fed Up Vermont dilutes its message when it lumps child advocates with rapists. Feminists might not like abortion facts, but grouping pro-lifers with rapists?  Really?  That’s like calling rapists pro-life.

Rape is the use of physical violence to force sex on an unwilling victim.  Abortion is the use of surgical or chemical violence to kill a victim within a woman’s uterus.  Not only does abortion kill the baby, it can injure the woman, and is a cover-up for rapists since it erases the evidence.

Instead of erasing chalked information that makes them feel uncomfortable, students could utilize their energy and minds to change the actual statistics.  How valuable is a college education where you simply eliminate inconvenient truths?

Feminists are rightly outraged at the frat’s rape question.  So why does Fed Up Vermont defend the offensive question that the million dollar abortion industry answers on a daily basis:  If you could abort anyone who would it be?

LGBT groups criticize school for informing parents their son is 'gay'

LGBT advocates urge schools to leave parents out of the loop when it comes to their child’s sexuality.  Willowcreek Middle School in Lehi, Utah has come under fire for reporting to the boy’s parents, with his permission, that he identifies himself as “gay.”

The Salt Lake Tribune reported the child advertised himself as gay on a poster during a class assignment.  His teacher confirmed that he wanted his poster displayed in class.  Later, an adult aide overheard other students making negative comments to the boy about being gay. An assistant principal admonished the students for their comments.
Concerned about the potential for bullying, a school administrator informed the parents that their son was gay.  Despite heavy criticism, the school stood by its decision to tell the parents.  District spokeswoman Rhonda Bromley said, “We do include parents any time there’s a potential safety issue with a student.”
However, LGBT groups criticized the school’s actions. The Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network (GLSEN) said “taking away the choice for a student to come out on their own terms” is risky.

But they are fine with taking away the choice for parents to opt in to mandatory homosexuality education?  See Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut, and California.

Why do they trust children to make the right choice, but not parents?  Because children are easier to manipulate and recruit?

GLSEN argued, “Schools should be able to provide LGBT students with support and resources in order to make an informed decision if and when they decide to come out to their school community and family."

LGBT advocates urge students to make an “informed decision” but don’t want to give parents pertinent information so they can make informed decisions?  Why is information good for students but not for parents?

Why do gay rights activists trust children and schools but not parents?

Hamline University accused of discrimination against gender-integrated marriage advocate

Tom Emmer accused Hamline University of “reneging” on an agreement to hire him because faculty opposed his views on gender integration in marriage.

According to the Pioneer Press, Emmer says the St. Paul, Minnesota school had originally agreed to hire him to teach a business law class but then backtracked “after a small group of staff, including business school professor David Schultz, objected to his political views, including his opposition to same-sex marriage.”

Emmer says the university’s school of business dean Anne McCarthy told him by phone that he “would not be allowed to teach business law to Hamline students” because of his “conservative political views.”

Emmer responded in a letter to the university president, Linda Hanson:

"Madam President, is there a requirement that every faculty member at Hamline conform on the issue of marriage? Is there only one point of view allowed? Is there no political or religious freedom recognized at Hamline? I thought the 'mission' at Hamline University was to educate - not to inculcate.''

The school claims there was never any “finalized agreement” to hire Emmer.

What are we teaching college students nowadays?  That it is unethical to discriminate against those who believe in same-sex marriage, but it is perfectly fine to discriminate against gender-integrated marriage advocates?

Another indictment in battle for lesbian’s claim to unrelated child Isabella Miller

Lifesitenews reports:
"The Obama administration has indicted a second individual suspected of helping a nine-year-old girl escape a custody claim by an unrelated lesbian, who is seeking to take custody of her from her natural mother."
Kenneth L. Miller of Stuarts Draft, Virginia is accused of helping Lisa Miller kidnap her own daughter Isabella and flee the country to avoid giving custody of the child to Janet Jenkins.  Authorities previously dropped charges against Timothy Miller who was also accused of helping Lisa flee from Janet Jenkins’ custody suit. (Kenneth, Timothy, and Lisa Miller are unrelated.)
The FBI press release states:
"Kenneth L. Miller contacted associates in Nicaragua and Canada to request their support for Lisa Miller as she fled the United States with the daughter she shared with her civil union partner in 2009. The complaint alleges that at Kenneth Miller’s direction, the individuals purchased plane tickets for Lisa Miller and her child to fly from Canada to Nicaragua, and transported Miller and her child from a hotel in Canada to the airport for her flights."
Janet Jenkins seeks custody of Isabella on the grounds that she had been in a civil union with Isabella’s mother.  Lisa has since dissolved the union and renounced the homosexual lifestyle.  A Vermont judge had granted custody of Isabella to Jenkins although she is not related to the child.

The FBI is working hard to unite the girl with the unrelated lesbian:  "The United States Attorney commended the U.S. Marshals Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation for their hard work on this matter."
