Same-sex marriage advocates: Is a child a commodity or a person with civil rights?

If two men have the “right” to marry each other, and marriage means family, does this mean they also have a “right” to children?  Do they have the right to adopt children?  Do they have the right to buy children?  Do two men have the right to purchase eggs and rent a womb and use the child’s mother as a hatchery?  Is a child merely a commodity owned by the one who paid for it?

If a same-gender couple has the right to children, is that entitlement a health care right?  Some call terminating a pregnancy Women’s Healthcare. Will in vitro fertilization and surrogate mothers be covered under Men’s Healthcare?  Will Obamacare eventually pay for men to use mothers for their uteri?

And in all these talks about equality and civil rights, who is advocating for child equality?  What about the civil right of each child to have both a mother and a father?

Same-sex marriage is based on the recognition of the special relationship between two persons of the same gender.  What about the special relationship every child deserves with his mother and his father?

Support Child Equality.  Defend pro-gender marriage.
